Code Annual Reports
As a Chartered Trading Standards Institute Approved Code, Consumer Code for New Homes is required to produce an Annual Report regarding the operation of the Code.
Each year, we report on the number of enquiries from consumers and developers, the number of formal complaints registered and the outcomes from complaints which are taken to the Independent Dispute Resolution Scheme.
Compliance with all aspects of the Code by our Code Members is extremely important to us. Annually, we review Code compliance amongst our members, and review the outcomes from any Disciplinary & Sanctions Panel hearings.
Finally, we review the Code wording and the operation of the Code to identify if there are any improvements we can make to the Code in order to improve consumer protection further based on consumer and developer feedback.
